When Marvin meets Miles: A Johnny Britt Project

Singer, composer and trumpeter, Johnny Britt made his initial debut with Motown Records as the lead singer of the popular duo Impromp2. As a producer and recording artist, Britt has worked both live and in studio with top musical artists including Jennifer Lopez, David Bowie, Josh Groban, David Bowie, Maxwell, and Luther Vandross.

He has received Gold and Platinum status from his work with the Temptations and Boney James. Johnny Britt, aka J. Britt, is now embarking on his solo career with the release of his anticipated single, “Beautiful Queen,” featuring Jessy J, best known for her No. 1 Billboard hit, “Hot Sauce.”

"The artistry of J. Britt is compared to that of Miles Davis and Marvin Gaye simply because J. Britt sings like Marvin and plays trumpet like Miles" J. Britt is a rare combination of cool and sophistication displaying his art as a singer, songwriter, trumpeter and producer.

On "Feels So Good," J. Britt called on the skills of a few of his legendary friends to add their talent to this recording--Ray Parker Jr., Wah Wah Watson and Ready Freddie Washington.

Playing his flugelhorn and adding his Marvin Gaye-like vocals only further testifies to what you're about to hear when Mr. Johnny Britt "STEP'S INSIDE" the BP Urban Hang Suite for your listening pleasure.
