Established to celebrate the humanity of all people and facilitate an educational exchange between different cultures.
Festival SXM will feature a "full on" cultural masala of film, music and food from countries all over the world in attendance. Our adopted central theme: "TBA"
Musical Performances
Musical performances abound at the festival each year.
Two stages are typically constructed, with performances scheduled throughout each day of the festival. While Jamaican and Caribbean music dominate the schedule, bands and singers from other areas of the world also perform.
Expect a wide range of musical styles, including reggae, calypso, gospel, hip-hop, blues, soul, rock and dancehall music.
Past performers include reggae-pop sensation Shaggy and Jamaican dancehall deejay Admiral Beauty. In some years, the International Reggae and World Music Awards ceremony has been held during the festival.

Our wide variety of cooking demostratons performed by celebrity chefs, exclusive dining experiences and the many food vendors offering authentic Caribbean foods from Jerk chicken to curried goat.

60-70 street vendors displaying their goods at the Caribbean open air market.

A large kid zone with rides, face painting and a number of other activities planned for our island festival goers.
