The SPI Jazz Marketplace provides an unlimited opportunity to showcase your originality, allow your art, handcrafted goods and merchandise to speak for you to an audience of thousands in a unique and vibrant island setting.


This unique atmosphere blends the culture of two bordering country's, Mexico and the US into a Vibrant Consumer Marketplace filled with enterprising street vendors for a three-­day shopping experience like no other!


If Selected, All Vendor Fees for the South Padre Island Jazz & Latin Music Festival will be 15% of Gross Sales. Payments must be made in cash or electronically via Square of PayPal Only! 


Selected Food Vendors must meet the guidelines of the CVB of South Padre Island's Office of Special events. Only licensed food vendors will be considered for participation with decision letters sent by August 15, 2018..

Applications will be open from January 1 – August 14, 2018. Please consider this is a high volume event with long, mandatory operating hours over three days.


Mandatory Hours of Operation:

  • Thursday, DAY I: 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

  • Friday, DAY II  4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

  • Saturday, DAY III: 1:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

  • Sunday, DAY IV: 1:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.


Food vendors will be located throughout the island and festival grounds for the South Padre Island Jazz & Latin Music Festival's footprint strategically placed in high traffic locations.
