For the past two {2} decades a truly life-changing event has taken place in the British Virgin Islands, one that celebrates "Life Well Lived" and it's been developed to provide "people of color" who are woefully under-represented in the Luxury Yachting world with the opportunity to experience the true adventure of sailing on their own private yacht and island-hopping the calm waters of the British Virgin Islands.

 

The 20th Annual Black Boaters Summit "BBS" provides an amazing opportunity to enjoy one of the premier sailings destinations in the world while allowing a good dose of the history of the Caribbean islands.

The British Virgin Islands "BVI" features the most relaxing sails to several of the approximately 50 islands that make up this West Indian island-nation. Located 60 miles east of Puerto Rico, each Island offers its own unique character and culture which makes this luxurious mode of island-hopping a true adventure.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE

We are bareboating. ...What does that mean, it means that everyone on-board participates in the daily functions of operating a yacht. You help to cook, clean and sail the boat. There will be up to ten participants including the captain and 1st mate on each yacht.

YOUR BVI EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

  • All meals, snacks, and beverages*

  • Fully stocked bar

  • Stereo and CD Player with Cockpit Speakers

  • Free WiFi 

  • Double staterooms with en suite lavatory and shower

  • Freshwater showers on deck

  • Housekeeping services

  • Flat-screen TVs with DVD

  • Air Conditioning

  • Snorkeling equipment

  • Fishing gear (The BVI requires a license)

  • Stand Up paddleboard/s

  • Cellular Phone Rental (BVI only)

  • A gratuity of 10 to 15 percent is recommended but  not included
